Here's what I learned about emailing. Feel free to send this on to anyone,A) to respond to a specific paragraph in some email:
1 highlight the part of the email you want to respond to so
they can know What You are responding to (and so you can remember
several subjects), then
2 Click "reply." There shouldn't be any other cyberspeak/names/ headers left.
3 You can write on it and delete the non-relevant sections.
4 Then click "Send"
B To send, clean, to a third party (i.e
.quotes/jokes/ humor stuff):
1 Highlight only what you want
2 "copy" it (mac/alt c.
3 go to top of screen and get a clean "new page" to write on,
4 "paste" it (mac/aly v)
5 Then write/delete your reply as you wish. It's easier to follow if you reply
In caps next to the
senders small type.
6 go to your "address book" & click all the other names you want while
holding down the shift key.
7 Return to email page, you can write again on it
8 and click "send"
C) TO FORWARD SOMETHING(HUMOR, OR A QUOTE) CLICK
"FORWARD"
1 all the headers and names will be added and WILL BE
VISIBLE if you don't do a "copy And
paste" as in 3# above,
2 if you've clicked "forward," even if you've screened and highlighted
only Certain private
paragraphs to forward, you will find out that the ENTIRE DOCUMENT WAS
ADDED AT THE
END, including all the things you thought you Excluded by selectively
highlighting.
(Embarrassing names and info can be Revealed that you wanted held
back).
3) BETTER NOT USE "FORWARD" |
